[Albion] The green kit (a plea to the club)

I think that the club are their own worst enemy in this in that they persisted and continued , for whatever reason , in wearing yellow away and had they stuck with the green kit and whatever colour shorts the kit would have sold well and become as popular as the yellow kit.

The players obviously hate the camouflage green kit and have presumably asked not to play in it, presumably due to the fact that they are unable to see their team mates.

Don't really like any of our 3 kits this year ( with the fat stripes on the home one ).

Hopeful that next year this will change.

That is probably true so perhaps they should have changed the shorts and socks to a luminous colour like orange or yellow.or even red.

Like the original Surbuteo home teams in Red away teams in Blue.

I must admit one of my favourites was the old Freddie Goodwin kit of white with blue edging.

Given the team's away form, some might argue it wouldn't matter WHAT kit they were wearing, it wouldn't make a bit of difference

In this technological age, wouldn’t it be nice of our community club to hold an on line referendum on a selection of kits submitted by its fans? Call it Grexit if you like.

Agreed. Hughton and/or the players have banned it as they can’t see each other but the club haven’t admitted it for marketing reasons.

Well they haven't played in it for 7 games now and nearly 3 months - its not something that they can keep a secret.

Yep. I'd say its primarily a peripheral vision issue, where you can't instantly pick up who's around. Solid green is a bloody stupid colour to wear on a football pitch. Look at how shit Watford were last week.

c) Catalan (Yellow & Red stripes) Kit in memory of Bruno

I posted some examples on another thread a while ago. It is rather lovely.

Just a thought but could the club have added the numbers is a luminous colour to stand out or perhaps a stripe down the arms.

Technology being what it is, we could easily have numbers that are actually lights.
