Loads on here i like. My favourite being the Amelie scene which - being a French language film and all - doesn't fit with my posting style but anyway.

Back on brand, here's the bear scene from the Revenant

If you've not had a chance to see any "making of" from Revenant I thoroughly recommend them. The whole thing was an epic undertaking with extreme wide angle lenses used meaning the cameraman was often literally only a handful of inches from di Caprio's face for long sequences, particularly the attack around the camp scenes, and temperatures so cold it affected the focusing tolerance of the cameras so they had to be repeatedly warmed up to start filming again. Incredible.

This scene from Atonement always amazes me. All shot in a single take and just an incredible tracking shot: the level of choreography for a huge number of people not least the camera crew, the planning, one-time-only things that had to come together to make this work and timed for the weather and position of the sun too...blows my mind every time.

I was blown away the first time I saw this. Clever on many levels. The rest of the film didn't quite live up to the first 5 mins for me though.
