So we have had 'Build a bonfire stolen' and I also noticed palace singing 'der der der der, der der der der' though obviously missing out the Adam Virgo bit.

I was wondering whether out 'Charlie Oatway, Charlie Oatway' predated the other uses of that tune, i.e. 'Top of the league with Harry and Jim'.

Every time we come up with a good tune/song, people nick it.

Having said that we owe 'When the ball hits the net...' to Celtic's Di Canio song.

Any others been stolen?

The gooners sung the Charlie Oatway song for Thierry Henry before we did. Did "It's just like watching Brazil start on Fans Utd day at the Goldstone, or were Barnsley singing it before that?
I also think the Mark McGhee whisky song is brilliant, although I believe this was nicked from Liverpool, and never seems to really get going anyway.
