He's got a good touch for a big man.

What this game needs is a goal.

They can't score from Row Z.

It only takes a second to score a goal.

He's put in a shift today.

They'll be looking for a reaction.

110%.

It's a results business.

"It's unbelievable Jeff. It's still 0-0 here but Man Utd should be 3 up"

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

That's NOT how the world works. If Man Utd had scored their first chance then a WHOLE NEW set of circumstances would have taken place and the 2nd/3rd chance to score wouldn't have happened in the same way.

:goal:

So true.

There's a newer one.

The Theatre of Dreams.

The challenge by the defender invited contact. (When none was made whatsoever and the cheating attacker dived)

All Hammers fans demand is the West Ham Way, of beautiful football played on the deck.

That ball was so high, it came down with snow on it.

Fans will forgive anything, as long as they see effort. (No. They condemn lots of other things too)

Back of the old onion bag.

The atmosphere at Anfield is always electric.

The Kop almost SUCKED the ball in.

No, no it didn't. The Kop is simply a stand of fans whose powers of support are vastly overrated. Liverpool teams are usually good enough to score goals without turning it into a Godly match of blow football.

My personal bugbear - 'Stick it in the mixer'

It only takes a second to score a goal

You've got yer Chelseas and yer Arsenals, yer David Beckhams and yer Frank Lampards.......there's only one of each FFS.

Massive - goal, tackle, challenge, game, tie, victory, defeat, card, decision etc. EVERYTHING is 'massive'

Exactly. Only Sheffield Wednesday are truly massive.

"But he got the ball first"

(before he followed through and ended the opponent's career)
