Not necessarily, I get the impression that comrade plooks might be on the spectrum, and that combined with the fact that some people here are actually quite dumb probably makes NSC a confusing place sometimes.

Do you think it's cruel to set up comedy scenarios at the expense of other posters? I must confess doing it a fair bit, but I can get all shirty when it's done to me (depends what it is, of course, but even so, goose, gander etc). And I ask that as someone who is deffo on the spectrum himself. Albeit I'm probably not technically stupid. And I do run all my posts past Spellcheck by pasting them into Word before posting so, if I can do it, there's no excuse really, is there? ???

I agree. I thought his post was hilarious. I am gonna plagerise his comment at the earliest opportunity I can.

As the fan said to Oscar Wilde: "I wish I'd said that!"
And Wilde replied "You will, dear boy, you will". :lolol:

And  to Bry Nylon for not allowing the facts to get in the way of a good comedy opportunity. Fact.

Cruel, I dunno.. not really. No more than expected. If a lot of people would be targetting one individual over something they really cant do anything about - say i.e. we would start five threads playing with one particular individuals dyslexia, then that would be a bit cruel. But one group of pie throwers throwing a pie over at another group of pie throwers, cant say its cruel really. And occasionally making fun of some trait of some individual is not that cruel either, its often a given and take thing. Im the stoner with the pizza boxes, you are the old confused academic etc, thats just fun and if people have issues with it... too bad for them.

When it comes to spelling specifically, I generally dont bother about people making mistakes or having apparent neurological issues stopping them from spelling adequatly, nothing to care about or to make fun of. But people who simply refuse to learn how to spell or some basic grammar stuff... they need to be ridiculed as its just lazy.

Then again Chrome says Im spelling everything wrong...

... so maybe I shouldnt say anything.

Indeed. Fair points, all.

I had bloody Word digging out my text a while ago, till I realised I was editing (well, marking and giving feedback) a paper written using an Italian verson of Word (Italian student) which saw my English as errors. I assume that's the equivalent of what's happend in the snip you pasted ???

All the best!

That's only because your computer is more than likely to recognise Swedish as your first language.

Just let excessive threads on these subjects go over your head. The will diminish when results improve. And resurface when they are bad.

Sometimes I find that humour is a way of riding through the rough patches. That's a Scottish way of getting through the tougher times in life.

Your posts are often entertaining and/or perceptive. But please (and it's a regular thing you do) learn the difference between i.e. and e.g.

Thank you. And please excuse my impertinence.

Perhaps GP hates VAR as much as most of us, so with the way things are going we will see the end of that next season. Foresight? Or perhaps he's just trying to take one major headache away from us fans.

Look, everyone is having a lovely chit chat and I’m ok with that. However please can we occasionally chip in with some positivity about our Graham ? Oh and I’m still waiting by my front door for that help supposedly sent by Bry Nylon

For the avoidance of doubt I am being a little facetious. I genuinely want to lift both my and the board’s mood for the good of the team and management.

Mr Nevverlle. I think you are, to coin a phrase "pis**ng into the wind on that one".

Put up here without prejudice but as we all
Know how much TB relies on statistical based analysis I assume things like this are helping drive his current decision making:

Thank ****.

Interesting. So, basically, we're conceding more goals in-game than we should be, and we're chronically missing in-game chances at the other end. I think the board recognised this in the summer, and can only think that had we signed Darwin Nunez, we'd be pushing for a comfortable top half finish. On the defensive side, it seems we're weaker with the three centre backs, and I'm not sure whether it's trying to find a space for white, or accommodating lamptey, or the lack of Murray defending corners, or Duffy's absence, or zonal approaches, but it just seems so schoolboy and nail-bitingly typical at the back on every set piece occasion.

How do you concede or miss chances that aren’t “in-game”?

Those words are completely superfluous to your point, why would anyone use them?

No he isn’t (OP pi***ng in the wind)Positivity is the ONLY way forward. Like everyone I was a tad deflated last night but am looking forward to Saturday now and us gaining that vital win. We have no confidence at the moment(I think that’s fans, players and coach) but we have to BELIEVE we can change things. Most of us have supported Albion long enough to know it’s rarely a bed of roses and apart from VAR I’m still loving being in the top flight. If we can just get that elusive win it might kickstart our season again. If the worst happens at season end we’ll still support our club and TB however he chooses to go in terms of coach etc. That’s what supporting your team is about as far as I’m concerned.
Come on GP - however you do it inspire/ignite the team and help us all galvanise the fans
