Top marks to the North Stand choir. First time I'd heard it and raised a few chuckles. Also kudos for the "you're worse than Mike Dean..." chant.

Oh Stevie Sidwell
You are the love of my life
Oh Stevie Sidwell
I'd let you shag my wife
Oh Stevie Sidwell
I wish I had ginger hair too....

David Stockdales' magic
He doesn't wear a hat
He could of stayed at Fulham
But he said no **** that
He saves them with his Left hand
He saves them with his right
And when we win promotion
We'll sing this song all night

This made me smile this morning. Not heard the song yet, but apparently the protagonists have been doing it for a little while. If it makes Uwe happy, we should all be singing it loudly at Lincoln, thus:

He's a German, our mighty German
He's Uwe Hünemeier
He's a German, our mighty German
He's Uwe Hünemeier
A-Hünemeier, a-Hünemeier, a-Hünemeier, a-Hünemeier.
...etc

Tune of The Lion Sleeps Tonight, if that wasn't immediately obvious...

I've been singing that all day at work. Getting a few strange looks.

Also, "[insert official's name here], you're worse than Mlke Dean" is absolute genius, and way, way better than the tired old "You don't know what you're doing" for an incompetent official.

I look forward to hearing that on future occasions (many, no doubt).

I was thinking for our left back chum, something in the tune of the Chesney Hawkes classic....

Se bas-tian Pocog - noli
(I) (am) (the) (oneand) (only)
Nodbody I'd rather play
Sebastian Pocognoli
I really hope that he can stay.

That's one of the best songs for one of our players I can remember actually. Well done someone.

Looking forward to hearing this. Same words as the original?

Yeah.

Sometimes I think people get a little obsessed with changing the words to a song. If you can fit a player's name in, then just sing it, it doesn't have to have perfect lyrics or even be football related.

Like that Pocognoli effort above. I quite like where the poster is coming from, but I don't think you even need to change the words apart from Seb's name. Nobody I'd rather be? What's wrong with that? :)

It's Seb. Po cog noli
(Yes) (sir), (I) (Can) (Boogie)
He's in for Gaetan Bong
Pocognoli, Pocognoli
All night long....
