Where is the Dover/ Wight landfall boundary?

I've been told Beachy Head, Newhaven Port and Peacehaven.

I hope it's Beachy Head.

Dover Shipping Forecast area.

50°15'N 01°30'E
51°15'N 02°55'E
51°15'N 01°25'E

50.7680° N, 0.2905° E Eastbourne Town
50.7931° N, 0.0456° E Newhaven Town

Looks like nearer Eastbourne but a little more East?

West is BEST
As an aside, I went to see that film Fisherman’s Friends a little while ago and in the background the Shipping Forecast was read out on radios. But it was read out by... Jeremy Vine!

Why?

He’s a radio 2 DJ with an annoying voice. They could have chosen from any of the lovely voices from R4 that actually read the forecast but they chose him? It annoyed me way more than it should have done.

As another aside I have put myself forward as a volunteer for the Shoreham Coastguard as a Watchkeeper at the harbour watchtower, which among other things involves giving out the weather report. Looking forward to getting started with that.

Also, when I was a kid, I thought that was for the ships moored up down the bottom of Trafalgar Road, Portslade. I was very young.
