The have SO many players capable of scoring, I think the 1 striker thing is a bit of a red herring, as a lot of modern teams play with these new-fangled wing striker type players.

Agree about the striker thing. A lot of odd modern teams play with this 'false 9' thing including Germany against Portugal. Why bother with strikers when you have a heap of players who are able to score? It is a crying shame Reus got injured as he is another midfielder who can score for fun.

Germany are undoubtedly decent but all they've done is beat an ordinary Portuguese team that didn't turn up and, when they did, had someone stupidly sent off.

There's not enough form there to draw a conclusion.

Boooo. Spoil sport.

If posters can somehow conclude England could win Euro 2016 from a loss to Italy then I can dream as well.

I'm glad to see the penny (or the 1 cent) is finally dropping that everything in Germany is better.

As a gesture of good-will I will offer German consultancy and Teutonic make-overs at mates rates for the duration of the world cup.
