Excellent video :clap2::clap2:

Not sure it makes me feel any happier about the whole situation though.

I've still yet to see any evidence that he was actually wearing any, and if so, what type they were.

LAW 4 – THE PLAYERS’ EQUIPMENT
Safety
A player must not use equipment or wear anything that is dangerous to
himself or another player (including any kind of jewellery).

Basic equipment
The basic compulsory equipment of a player comprises the following separate
items:
• a jersey or shirt with sleeves – if undergarments are worn, the colour of the
sleeve must be the same main colour as the sleeve of the jersey or shirt
• shorts – if undershorts or tights are worn, they must be of the same main
colour as the shorts
• stockings – if tape or similar material is applied externally it must be the
same colour as that part of the stocking it is applied to
shinguards
• footwear

Shinguards
• are covered entirely by the stockings
• are made of rubber, plastic or a similar suitable material
provide a reasonable degree of protection

Either he wasn't wearing any, or they didn't do the job.
So why was he out there?

Absolutely horrendous challenge , Flying in studs raised . Good job gaston has plenty of time to recover now for the prem that is all I can say. Mr Dean got that spot on.

F***ing hell. I can't believe you're STILL posting on our forum. Didn't you say you were leaving 2 or 3 hours ago?

You might want to see what some of the 'shin pads' our players wear before starting this crusade

Agreed. Terrible that Gaston was so slow to the ball that he ended up seriously injuring himself. He will need to try and find some pace or he will quickly end up dropping down the leagues - again.

Not a crusade, just a question.

Ok but just saying. ALL players are wearing children's shin pads at best. Including our own players.

Watching it again now in the cold light of day I'm not sure it was even a foul - definitely no red though, disgrace.
