Cant say I'm too fussed about them. Be good to have two league teams in Sussex and can see them getting promoted again if they keep up the same investment.

I'm far from wishing them well, but I'm ceratinly not going to waste any energy hating them.

There is an argument that if Crawley progress up the leagues then they will divert potential support, and therefore resources from us, but given Falmer that is many years away.

I'm pleased they're doing well. I went to see them last week and it was great. I haven't seen that many kids at a game since the Goldstone in the seventies which, to me, is a very good thing for the game.

I saw a good game, played in the right spirit with a great atmosphere. It cost £14 to get in and I didn't have to pay to become a member of some colour-coded club. I just fancied a game, drove up and paid on the gate.

The matchday announcer gave out the crowd of over 3,000 which "includes 73 who have come down from Mansfield". They got a friendly and genuine ovation and all took a bow.

It will do no harm to have a bit of friendly rivalry and banter with another Football League club from the county of Sussex.

Crawley have done well but still have a long way to go in order to become an established League club. Crawley are lucky to be in that select group with a wealthy benefactor (by non-League standards) so could do well in Lge 2. but will need much deeper pockets to progress. Will be interesting to see where they are in 5 years. So enjoy the ride - while it lasts.

Wonder where the Albion will be in 5 years? The sky seems to be the limit.....long may the Bloom era continue!

I'm not particularly fond of them. They didn't come across too well in their cup run and their manager seems to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder. Hardly a surprise that they're doing well, given the amount of money they have spent.

I am beginning to despise the BBC Sussex commentator who specialises in covering Cwawley games who cannot pwonounce his R's

EH? could be two years away if we have a bad year.

I dont hate Crawley, I just have no opinion about them

Lets try again.

I meant the resource of Falmer (22k attendances, rising to 30k) set against the resources of the Broadfield Stadium ( 5k attendance, max) means they wont be able to compete for some years.

They could compete with us in the future, but not yet.

the only problem i have with crawley, and it came to the fore in that cup run more than anything, was the idea of them being little and it being some sort of miracle that they are fighting for promotion to the league. they have spent more money this season than certainly any club in league two has, and i wouldnt mind betting in league one as well

you get what you pay for, and presuming the owners dont do a runner in the summer i will be lumping on them to go up again next season
