My next door but one neighbour is currently designing costumes for a new Tommy Cooper biopic, 'Tommy'. Imagine - being paid good money to study the great man in all his dimensions.

Tommy Cooper once went to buy some camouflage trousers, but couldn't find any.
He had huge feet (size 17 I think).

Read the entire Jamie thread a few months ago, it had me in stitches...

It was even funnier at the time as it rolled on. The redacted version is still funny but if only you could see it without the stuff that's been removed - funny as @@@@!

Didn't he do a grand national sweepstake one as well but lost some of the horses names down the back of the sofa before the draw

I remember that! He did it about two months before the event so had about 70 horses in it :lolol:
Then he had another go at the time and lost some of the horses. Nobody had the winner
Is that thread still around or lost to history?

It's not generally regarded as an NSC classic but, the one where someone (quite possibly 1066) was taking some bird on a date to Pizza Hut. Talking of 1066, his latest offering about his job interview had me LOLing.

Of those mentioned Fireman Dan was the funniest; although Jamie had some fantastic ingenuity.

The Jamie thread bought this forum to the attention of all of my colleagues as they all ended up following it and trying to find out what had been sent or said next

Fireman Dan was classic, as was the Millwall Fan season ticket

Just reading all of the suggestions has brightened up my afternoon. This really is a rather amusing place when you ignore all the trolls and palace obsessed crap

:lolol:

And what must be in the top ten of single posts of NSC

The date went amazingly well, so amazing in fact. me and Dana have fallen deeply in love with each other, love at first sight is a fantastic feeling. Last night we walked along the beach, cannoodling with each other. It was the best feeling in the whole entire world, we went along the Pier but it was closed apart from the bars, but that was still fantastic because I was with the girl I adore. We then decided on walking to the Marina with highhills (my girlfriend is with me right now, her words not mine.) So we then decided against the idea of walking, and we decided to get the bus to it instead. We got to the Marina and the time was 9:20, so we missed the last showing of Spiderman Three. So we then went onto Pizza Hut, we had a table for two, got served by Sophi. We were playing footsy under the table, also the couple next to us were also doing it. :lolol: :lolol:

We then ordered, 2 Tangos, Cheesy Garlics Bread and Meatfeast. We ate the food, and the bill come to £16.06 and we gave pound tip, but no bloody mints!!!! We then got the bus back to my house and she met my mother, and she is so lovely, sweet and a good person to talk to. (look up brackets earlier in paragraph).

We then continued to about 1:15 in the morning, and then I took my baby home, only five minute walk over the bridge. and we kissed goodnight, and I didn't want the night to end.

I LOVE YOU DANA, SO MUCH BABY. YOU'VE MADE ME SO HAPPY, AND I WANT TO MAKE YOU THE MOST HAPPIEST WOMEN ON THIS PLANET!

:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

I think I have done Kev a diservice I don't think it was him who lost the horses down the back of the sofa

Well found, Gazwag. '122 horses would be utter chaos'. Hahaha. Classic Kev.

From that thread:
Sadly reminiscent of when THPP was put in charge of the NSC Official Grand National Sweepstake a couple of years back. Somehow managed to lose the winning horse's name down the back of me couch before putting it with the rest of the names in the muslin bag. 39 horses allocated to 39 posters on s trict first-come-first-served basis - and nobody had the winner. Whole sweepstake declared null and void

Sorry Kev. Seems that Tom Hark did no better then.

Was that the game where Bradley Johnson made his debut coming on at Half Time?

I had a season ticket but couldn't go to the game as it was a Tuesday Night and I startedmy new job on a Wednesday - Who starts a bloody contract on a Wednesday?!?! I was livid
