Loving the WeightLoss ad that appears at the top of this thread:

'How I Lost 35 Pounds Fast!'

Presumably some oblique reference to Uncle Spielberg's racing tips

Going on from another thread i read make your ideal Full English using only 6 items from the list below......

Egg - State how to be cooked
Bacon
Sausage
Saute Potatoes
Hash Browns
Chips
Black Pudding
White Pudding
Tomatoes
Baked Beans
Mushrooms
Toast
Fried Slice
Bubble & Squeak

For me it would be

Scrambled Egg
Bacon
Sausage
Saute Potatoes
Mushrooms
Toast

Washed down with a pot of tea.......... Bring it on!

Egg (runny but with brown crispy edge), bacon (well done), sausage (any but good quality and grilled), beans (Heinz), bubble, toast (white and well done bordering on burnt). Tea infused for 3 minutes, a slight stir and no squeezing of the bag!

2 x Bacon
2 x Sausage
Scrambled egg
hash browns
fried bread
mushrooms

Worcester sauce for preference but brown will do. Tea and Toast and marmalade x 2 to accompany plus a nice glass of freshly squeezed orange juice as a token gesture toward healthy eating.

My Full Engish Breakfast would have to contain more than 6 items:

2 Eggs Fried Sunny Side Up
2 Unsmoked back bacon
2 Linconlshire or Cumberland Pork Sausages
Mushrooms
Grilled Tomato
Bubble
Thick slice of uncut bread.
Colmans Mustard and daddies Brown sauce.

Chips and Hash Browns have as much right on a full English as grits do, another American invention although I have them if in America but they do not belong on an English breakfast.

Why anyone would dream of ruining it with baked beans is beyond me.

Scrambled egg (made properly, takes at least 10-15 minutes to do)
Buttered Toast
Grilled Bacon
Grilled Tomatoes (2 sliced in two)
HP Sauce

Thick slice of uncut bread.

So presume you prefer a crust?

I've got a thing about scrambled eggs - to do them properly takes a while.

Can't be bothered to post, but it's about patience and constant whisking.

You get a pale custard for a while and right and the end they scramble.

Nothing worse than the cut up omellete style that happens if the heat is anything above the lowest possible setting.

Land of the Chavs
Poached egg
Bacon (streaky)
Sausage
Bubble
Black Pudding
Fried Bread

And while I can see the attraction of the tea, if this is in the morning then it's coffee. Black.

How can it possibly take FIFTEEN minutes to do scramblers? I pride myself on mine an it takes NO LONGER than FIVE.

FIFTEEEN MINUTES?
