Cadiz Seagull
Grey bearded old man
Runaway by Del Shannon. No 1 in 1961. Cost me 6/8d
If you discount novelty singles my parents bought for me like Theme from Z Cars, Theme from Steptoe and Son, Theme from Dr Who and comedy singles by Charlie Drake, I would probably settle on How do you do it by Gerry and the Pacemakers purchased in the record department at Bellmans in London Road with my auntie Lil. I still have all my vinyl singles and albums and remember where and why I bought them. That's why I can't get rid of them. Does that make me a little weird or was it a generational thing? I've also just found the tour flyer for my first gig which was King Crimson at The Dome in 1972.
