how were rehearsals?
Did you get to be the front end of the horse today?
No but I did hang out the back of your Mum, which is very similar believe me.

I have no real undertsanding of the mentality of a person whose whole week and person they are , are defined by planning a meet up with other saddo's with a sexual excitement at pummelling each other's faces in it is true.
Maybe you can enlighten me.
The Firm. One of the best (if not THE best) of a fairly shitty genre that will never get any critical acclaim anyway because of the subject matter. Gary Oldman in the leading role at a time when he was totally on top of his game and an exceptional cast all round. It won't be bettered, unless you remove Selhurst from the locations and film it at the New Den (where it should have been in the first place).
It would have been the The Den, the New Den wasn't built into the 90's.
Good point. Can I please change my original statement to...
...it won't be bettered, unless you remove Selhurst from the locations and film it at the New Den, which would be the best representation of The Den, where it should have been in the first place but can no longer be filmed as it's now a Sainsbury's or summat.
Cheers.
Oh I see what you mean now, take out the original bit with Shithurst in and replace it with the New Den!
I'm being slow tonight, sorry.
Doh!
Oh dear, you've resorted to Mum gags, the place where only the truly desperate go.
Nah, you made a valid point and I stand corrected. I still wonder why they filmed it at Palace though. We're they worried that Millwall were going to turn on the camera crew? I can't imagine the Millwall crowd of the late eighties objecting to the filming of a drama about football violence at their ground.

It's almost too easy here!
It's quite basic really Unc, some chaps like to have a punch up with other chaps, it's not new you know, it's been going on for centuries.
