The REMF Marathon Team will be in the BHAFC V Reading match programme with the focus on Kevin Risby, CPFC fan running in the pink top. Kevin will be running in the pink top now irrespective of the total he raises so please support him and keep an eye out for him on the day. I am also hoping to get this featured in the Argus next week.

As someone who bought their place for this event and also running for REMF as I didn't want to take up a charity place or run the risk of them being withdrrawn through lack of interest, you should be aware that a charity place costs £124 so this should be your minimum target or you taking part will mean the charity running at a loss.

Anyway about time we got this thread back on track i would still really like to hit my target of £500 and would really appreciate any donations.

im approaching the £500 target although some of mine was raised from selling tickets im badgering people and hope to get up towards the 750 mark by next sunday !

How is everyones training going? just done my 2nd half marathon in the last fortnight today but my legs were feeling it by the end godknows how im gonna find another 13 miles in them but i will get round some how

I've done a couple of half marathons - one official and one on my own round Brighton - and a 20 miler. Going to do another, say 14 or 15 miler this weekend then RELAX.

I won't get an amazing time but as long as I get round I will be happy.

It now looks like I will be doing it wearing an argyle shirt have text all my Plymouth mates and got a positive response am trying to put something on pasoti to see if I can get any extra money that way have said I will wear it if I get £500 from argyle fans have had texts from people saying they will pledge about £250 so far

We are on 93% of target pro rata. I reckon with a final big push from everyone over the next week we can exceed the 100%. I am very keen on getting Kevin over his £ 500 target as he has plugged his campaign relentlessly and shown great commitment to the cause.
