Is anyone having a pop at the tv camera crew for zooming in on the girl crying?

Just a thought, if nobody saw her on tv there wouldn’t be any online comments.

Maybe so, but it takes a special type of cretin to post abusive comments about it.

There is truth in that, but the two points should be kept separate.

My immediate thought was the Twitter feed that would ensue.

I thought this part was very telling - "We have a vocal minority of idiots who are swamping out the good in the UK and they're ruining our perception on the world stage and they're ruining our relationship with our friends and partners in Europe."

Zenophobia/nationalism/right wing populism has been on the rise all over the world, unfortunately. Including much of Europe. Certainly including Germany. I'm sick of people thinking it's just here.

Not defending morons who have abused her online of course.

But we all know it happens, not saying it’s right but no image of crying kid and no comments.
Palace fans on Twitter often post a photo of a crying Albion supporting kid, think it was from the play off match at the Amex.

I'm not sure there is a nice an easy option of one thing to blame. People writing horrible things on the internet is a phenomenon that has no easy prevention. Anyone can become a victim of it in a matter of seconds.

I said to Jnr (16):-

'Christ we could have made a fortune out of you, the amount of times the Albion have had you in tears' - the big gay goose. :lolol:

You are very much right.

But there is little that can be done about what goes on elsewhere. All folk can do is try and do the right thing here.

The jeering in the stadium was annoying but, yes, it's the way it is. The stuff online was sickening and these ***** need to be called out. It is not okay.

I balled my eyes out after Argentina 1986

As regards gay gooses, I wouldn't mock them to their faces. Here's Pedro and his husband in Queen's Park after deciding they didn't like the new fencing that had just been put up..

At least three of the Twitter accounts were banned, and one deleted his account. Police can also prosecute for malicious communications. Even if the tweets are deleted, they can be retrieved.
It takes a specially sick mind to abuse a small girl like that, especially with the sexual connotations.

I don't understand your point. Folk putting out the flags is an expression of support. The abuse you refer to is something else.
