The national press is now reporting that Vaz is under investigation for 'links to a rent boy brothel boss.'

"Inquiries about his conduct in Leicester pre-date those revelations (the recent male escort scandal) and involve claims he may have abused his public office when he attempted to overturn the 1991 eviction of a council tenant for unpaid rent.
The tenant, Nigel Philpot-Jones, was suspected of running a brothel and providing 'the services of young men for other men', according to a witness statement seen by the Sunday Times."

Sounds seriously, seriously dodgy.

Louis Theroux- Savile. Tonight BBC2

I saw a Jimmy Savile selection of 1960's music LP yesterday in a shop in Eastbourne (for 1960) they must be getting rare now! Scarcer than Gary Glitter LP's! A few Rolf singles floating around still though.

Jonathan King seems to stil be acceptable musically.

Doesn't seem to have affected Michael Jackson's sales.

Strangely a story about Jonathan King claiming that Bowie "was worse than JS" published in the Star a week or so ago seems to have mysteriously not been picked up either. Bowie could be the British MJ.

It's been claimed Bowie was worse than Saville? Feels like I am stuck in a very bad dream these days...

There are well documented cases of him sleeping with 13/14 year olds, it seems to be okay provided you are famous enough. There were plenty of people upset at his passing though, let the ******* rot.

"Dame Lowell Goddard told a parliamentary committee that she believed campaigners published articles in the press in the hope of dealing a "fatal" blow to the inquiry by forcing her to become the third head to resign the post."

Explaining the background to her resignation, Dame Lowell said the inquiry had been subject to "real and increasing strain" since March from "intensifying" media criticism.

"This centred on claims of unfairness in the investigation of allegations against late Labour peer Lord Janner and "developed into widening personal attacks on me and my competence", including reports about her extended absence overseas, she said."

"I was also very concerned that if the inquiry lost a third chair that might prove fatal for it, which was clearly what the campaigners were seeking to achieve."

Blimey! Once again you're all over this thread like a RASH. Much like Triggaaar on the Ched Evans thread. Anything either of you would like to tell us? ???

It's the largest, most expensive public enquiry this country has ever or is ever likely to see about a subject that all of us should care greatly about. Your insinuation is an utter disgrace and probably says more about you than anything else.

Don't you think thats a crass question?

Nope. Thought NSC was a discussion forum where you sort of, er, give your opinion and others gave theirs. Both those guys go WAY beyond that. Both seem to be on a personal mission for reasons best known to themselves. So they deserve to be called up on it now and again. IMHO, like.

If you think your own curiosity and judgement is enough to ask those questions, you are wrong! Not just a little wrong but way,way off the mark!
