The biggest worry is if thus stuff can be covered up then would a similar new situation be covered up now?

No wonder people are completely disillusioned with politics, this government needs to facilitate and cooperate with the police to find out if these kids were abused and killed, and who was responsible.

Anyone keeping abreast of this Melanie Shaw business? She's now been locked up for over 60 days. A quick google search should help you.

Bloody hell . That has made me furious. And very upset.

couldnt see anyone updating on Melanie Shaw, she has been found guilty by jury of "arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered"

It is much harder to cover up something now, surely? What I find odd with these dossiers that have disappeared, is that no-one appears to have made and kept copies - if they were that damaging to the establishment, surely someone would have hidden copies away somewhere? It is much more difficult to do that now - information can get disseminated across the internet very quickly if enough people want it to be.

Information is always valuable, even if you don't know why.

The most interesting piece of information in the Express story is that "PIE was being funded at the request of Special Branch which found it politically useful to identify people who were paedophiles".

This obvious interest by the authorities in high profile paedophiles at the time does not sit satisfactorily alongside the current version of the "facts" - that all of the evidence has mysteriously disappeared.

I can only conclude that evidence will turn out to be very much there for the picking and that what is holding the authorities back at the moment are the huge political sensitivities that surround the process of publicly naming the suspects.

Exactly. There will be a lot of people burying links, covering up ties and generally trying to distance themselves from proceedings before people start getting named. The few we know of is likely the tip of the iceberg.

In the same document - Zac Goldsmith says about Elm House "It is impossible to believe there hasn't been a cover up."

and "There can no longer be any doubt that powerful people have done terrible things and that they have been protected by the establishment. We know that some of the key figures are alive today, and the measure of success for the police investigations is that those people face justice before they die."
