In his mid-eighties. He's had a pretty good run, whilst all the while his victims lives have been ruined. That's not justice.
It is some justice. Him going to prison many years ago would have been better, but this is better than nothing.

The Thatcher government may have orchestrated an Establishment cover-up of child abuse by senior politicians, Lord Tebbit claimed today.
The former Tory party chairman claimed there was a mindset to ‘protect the system’ which has been to shown to have gone ‘spectacularly’ wrong because incidents of abuse grew.
The Home Office has ordered a full-scale legal inquiry into claims of an Establishment cover-up, after admitting it has lost 114 files including a dossier relating to allegations of abuse.
David Cameron is to appoint a top lawyer to investigate the Government’s handling of a dossier alleging high-level paedophile activity.
The file was first passed to Home Secretary Leon Brittan by Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens in 1983 – but subsequently lost.
Mark Sedwill, the Home Office permanent secretary, said a massive review of 746,000 Home Office files covering 1979 to 1999 had identified ‘573 relevant files which had been retained’.
However, he added: ‘The extensive analysis of the central database identified 114 potentially relevant files had been destroyed, missing or not found.

Looks like a huge cover up has been going on for some time. Odd that Leon Brittain asked for a report on an alleged paedophile activity but heard nothing back.... then obviously forgot all about it after hearing nothing back, how convenient ?

Elm Guest House Child Abuse Allegations

If this uncovers concrete proof of a high level Tory cover up, will that effect the result of next years General Election?

That and the career of one of the biggest music figures this country has ever produced?

And possibly his freedom?

Interestingly, (well, I think so) I've heard (from sources I trust) both the Elm House allegations about Cliff Richards, but also suggestions that he would be medically incapable of some sexual activity.

If there is any substance to the allegations it will be the biggest scandal this country has seen in many a year.

This all seems pretty weird, it doesn't make sense that it takes 30-odd years to resurface

Unless you are willing to entertain the possibility of a conspiracy?

Are you hinting that he cannot have anal sex, because he doesn't have an anus?! I always knew there was something weird about him...

Kasir – who ran the guest house with her husband Haroon Kasir, died on 17 June 1990, aged 47...

At the inquest into her death, the court heard Kasir, a diabetic, was found by a friend about 11am with "numerous injections and phials of insulin" next to her body, but that did little to stem a series of outlandish allegations. The inquest was shown suicide notes allegedly written by Kasir to her lover, but three witnesses – two child protection workers and a private detective – queried the provenance of the notes, telling the court Kasir feared for her life because of what she knew. She had been receiving threatening phone calls, was being harassed by police and told them she was being followed by an unmarked car, they said.

After adjourning the case several times, the coroner ruled she had "taken her own life" and that she died from hypoglycaemia caused by an insulin overdose. Friends claimed there were questions that were not adequatelyanswered, such as why Kasir was injected several times in the bottom, when she always took her injections in the arm. One witness at the inquest said he was shown photos of illustrious public figures in compromising poses, an allegation recently backed up by another witness.

Those friendly with Kasir said that, in the months before her death, she spoke about lifting the lid on the guest house, including listing those who visited, in a book.
