If Terry is dropped by Hodgson and is cleared in his trial starting on July 9th (5 days put aside), it isnt beyond possibility that he will make himself available for the Olympic TeamGB football team . . . .:-/

I'd like to see a back four of

Hart
Richards Lescott Cahill Cole

Neither Terry or Rio will go to Brazil.

Baines Johnson Jagielka and Dawson as backup.

That is our best back four with Hart in goal. Phil Jones and Chris Smalling will be pretty close to making the squad although Jones hasn't played much at centre back this season, he has been solid at right back but his crossing is woeful but hay that doesn't stop Lennon, SWP and Walcott making England squads.

Walker is the best RB in the world let alone England, not sure how you have missed him out!

Better then Richards? Debatable. But your right in terms of a back up, but would you take him or Johnson?

If it wasn't for not knowing our best centre back (and the fact that all of them are slow) pairing we would have one of the best defences in the world with the best goalkeeper. It's just a shame we're mediocre in all other respects.

I wouldn't take him. Smalling, Cahill, Jones and Lescott would be my four to take to the Euros. Last night JT was a liability in that back four, countless times he was outpaced by Suarez.

Big ask for Smalling and Jones to step up in a major competition. Lets be honest Smalling isn't really first choice at United and Jones has hardly played in that position this season.

Think you have to take Terry as much as he pisses everyone off. You need a bit of experience no matter how youthful you want the side and in terms of ability he probably is one of the best 5/6 English CB's.

Would definitely start Walker ahead of Richards as well. Walker has been outstanding for Spurs this season. Right back is probably one of our strongest areas at the minute, I would have no problem with Walker, Richards or Johnson starting to be honest.

Terry is slow and tends to dive in with his arms up to block shots. I'm amazed the refs to give many more penalties against him for handball. Not sure about Rio. Up to a couple of years ago he was world class and lightning quick but he has hardly played in the last year or two and looks to have lost a lot of pace. Terry and Rio together are a liability. Would be glad to see the back of Terry for a number of reasons both on and off-field.

Richards has played CB for City this season.

My back four
