Oooh, I just missed on getting a white seat. I'm seated just below the belly of the closest seagull, I think.

4 to 5 thousand from what I've read here. Basically quite like the WSU.

I think the stand will come down a lot further than it looks.

Are they boarding it up for now though? Would look better than all open and unfinished. Same question for the north corners....

apparantely the corners are approx 1000 each so if target capacity is 30k I make that 4000 for the East stand extention... can see my seat but now thinking umm 1 row in front of 1901 may make me a tad envious.. I'll be able to see & smell the fricken food & beer.

Is the top bit where the 2nd tier will go going to be left open?

My major problem with the stand-Will the gap especially as seen from the a27,well will it be closed by glass etc or does the noise get lost and the rain come sweeping in as well?

(Agree)
I'm no engineer but a few bits of angled steelwork could see the East Upper Overhang more than the west.

I think you are correct in what you say however it appears to me that any extension (ie 'upper East stand') would be under the existing roof and sound will not be an issue.

Rain, who knows, by the time it is developed there will be so many people loking for tickets/season tickets they wont care about getting wet if indeed that would prove to be a problem.

Looking at the picture i think a new tier if involving only the existing parts would be small but with overhang drawing an angle down might cover the 1st 10 odd rows of the lower - obviously the solution to my gap problem is solved with a new tier but i still think it might let some noise escape as it currently is.
