I have no real axe to grind with these two. Harry seems alright, and his doris is an absolute SAWT. They've got one shot at happiness in this life together, and if they'd rather spend their lives away from a disfunctional bunch of divorcees, cheaters, morons, liars, horses, perverts and senile elderly racists who roll Range Rovers, then I can't overly blame them for that.

Harry is only partially Royal given it is the worlds worst secret who his father is and he despises the press and clearly blames them for the death of his Mum. I don't blame him one bit for bailing out of this institution and now is as good time as ever with a new wife and kid.

A member of the "I really don't care about the Royal Family but am still interested enough to post on this thread" here. Good summary and I think once HM goes the Royal Family will have a far lower profile apart from in the Mail and Express.

They know they can name their price for doing pretty much anything they want in “North America”. They’ve already got a mate who’ll lend them a $10m house.

I don’t think we’ll see the end of the Royal Family for a good while.

Remember, the line of succession are proper company men. Charles and William, dull but both a safe pair of hands.

It will be slimmed down for a while, but remember, William has (I think, I pay little attention) 4 kids. So in 10 - 20 years time, they’ll be growing up, getting drunk, doing stupid stuff (like we all do when we’re young) having partners, getting married, having kids.

The whole circus will continue, because on average the public want it to.
