Sounds like exciting times for the Rams, nothing like an absolutely packed Pride Park Stadium. Looks like the good times are heading back there.

Wazza already carving quite a name for himself as the manager there, some superb results since taking over and a massively changed culture. Now with an exciting youung business spearheading their charge towards the EPL and Europe it's going to be some fun watching Derby in the coming years.

"Alonso, who previously had a short period working as an adviser at Sheffield Wednesday, has also given his backing to Rams manager Wayne Rooney."

So not only is he gonna lead Derby to the promised land of League 1, he has already been influential in the runaway success that is Massive

The new owner "previously had a short period working as an adviser at Sheffield Wednesday". What could possibly go wrong?

Which Massive denied, and he also said he was offered to buy Cardiff City, which Cardiff City deny. And also runs what appears to be a fake sports agency. Disaster written all over it

29 years old. Obviously bringing his wealth of experience and many years at the top of the game to Derby.

There is a chance Sheffield Wed may escape at Derby's expense.

Sheff Wed v Forest / Swansea v Derby

Then

Derby v Sheff Wed

& if Rotherham could get their act together both could go.

I predicted Rooney would be a disaster - and Derby could easily find themselves in League 1 thanks to their stupidity of appointing him. They compounded the mistake they made in 2019 when they appointed Cocu instead of trying to get Hughton.

Irrespective of whether they get relegated or not - I'd be surprised if Rooney was still manager at the start of next season.

I've been rooting for Rotherham lately for that very reason. They will fukk it up though.

Their form guide :lolol:

Only saved by tiny budget Rotherham also being loss specialists.

My football gods need to align for both Massive and Derby to drop.

Am I right in thinking that, after today's results, if Rotherham win their last 2 games both Wednesday and Derby go down? Otherwise it's winner takes all next Sat between Weds and Derby.

If Derby beat Massive, Rotherham need to beat both Cardiff and Luton,

Should Derby lose, just one win.

Sadly, Rotherham haven’t won a game of football for ages.

So there's a realistic chance that next year league one could have Sunderland, Derby, Wednesday, Ipswich, Charlton and Bolton in it.

That would be a pretty fun division to be in. I'm sure the #twats will enjoy it.

#twats = Pompey?

Two recent FAC winners are already there in Pompey and Wigan.

Odds against an awful Rotherham team staying up. Derby and Massive dropping would be hilarious.

Yeah, the pompey twats.

It would be a pretty stacked division with all those in there.

It’ll only end in tears, that can’t all go up in May 2022.

Funny to think that they’re all going to be in our modest position during the Slade/Poyet seasons up to May 2011.

Playing Fleetwood, Accrington, Burton, the real Wimbledon.

Got to love our pyramid system.
