Sorry, the 3 of us can't make it :'( Just can't afford £60 the same week we've had to replace our laptop and hubs clutch system on his car. Don't like not going but just not able to.

I'm unfortunately at the IRLA congress in the Grand. Company have forked out for the meal etc. so don't consider this a good enough reason not to be there. Maybe they will show it in the bar?

Same here BB, we gave up our 2 season ticket seats for the game. I kept going on the ticket site and was so tempted to buy a ticket. Don't usually miss a game, hate not going to give my support but will watch on tv. My son is going though, to another stand.

What does that stand for? For a split second, I found myself wondering whether Gerry Adams would make the congress following his unfortunate week.

Not sure they'd welcome Gerry Adams in The Grand ???

(mind, with IRLA in they should be ok to get insurance*)

With Derby having been allocated an extra 300 seats, there will not be too many more available for home fans in either the SE corners or S1F, but there should still be a few.

Tickets have been selling well this morning, with most blocks having gone red, indicating limited availability.

Can't be arsed to do another count up until later, but am predicting less than 1000 still to sell come 7pm tonight.

It would be a good move from the club to make any available from 5pm tomorrow to anyone with a 4 year booking history so those with less than 10 points don't miss out.

I wonder if Derby will return the good deed and offer us a few more?

I don't think that will be possible because the designated area has popular areas for home fans either side, so we're likely to have sold seats in the adjacent blocks. All other areas have home fans in them.

Because the club have moved the away fans to the area that was 'trialled' against Forest (and which is due to be the standard away seating area from next season), there isn't an easy way of increasing the number of seats that can be given to away fans at short notice. Since the 'trial' passed with flying colours, it's been the stated intention to implement it for the play-offs, so it's nothing personal.

There is a completely sold out block in the WSU and ESL. All other blocks have limited (red) availability apart from the northern most end of the family stand, the northerly most end of the WSU, the southerly most end of the ESU and a small section of SW corner. All these apart from E1A will go red in the next couple of hours.

Since the ST's have been released few tickets have sold on the school shelf, so this area has good availability.

Would like to apologies as I think my totting up this morning under estimated the numbers left. The current total is within 50 of 2000.

With the large allocation Derby were given, I can't believe these will be much demand above that, so am hoping the club do make any left for sale on the day.

Time to tell all your mates to get along for this one.

Is it POTG ?

No Brighton home games are POTG but you can normally book over the phone up to an hour before kick-off and pick-up at the game. No mention if that is going to be available on Thursday though.

Having a look back at last years play-off home game ticket thread, we only had a couple of hundred tickets left two days before the game but the club did have an extra few days to sell tickets as we were at home in the second leg. Also, there would have been more seats used up for segregation

...and a more 'attractive' game, being against them.

...and greater expectation of progression, given the respective finishing positions in the two clubs, and the Albion being very much in form.

Yes - 20 as the play-offs are classed as a cup game. 10 for the away leg.

They've awarded 20 for the away leg, which I'm sure is incorrect. However, I've not pointed it out yet because, well, it just doesn't seem important right now.

Good points. I would have thought that we'll still get fairly close to last years attendance of 29,500.

Nearly all areas are red (limited availability) now. A good day tomorrow and we may get close to shifting them all.
