Great stuff, result never in doubt, can't believe some people started to worry and post negative thoughts !!
It should be remembered that Warne is now just an ex-Test cricketer and as such has to try to maintain his lifestyle by advertising hair transplants and being a media whore. I buy The Times but I can honestly say I have not read his column for about 18 months and will not in the future. He is just gobbing off and as such should be ignored or looked upon as an attention seeker.
he did critisise the pitch at The Oval, which was a little poor but its difficult fo speak 10 minutes after losing the Ashes

But it was...
He was being honest
Anyone know who the last Aussie captain to lose The Ashes TWICE was?
I meant that it was poor of him to be critical of the pitch.. he never complained about the track at Headingly now, did he ?

Ponting is the first - I'm sure I've seen it written somewhere...
Cheers, I couldn't think of another off the top of my head, but wasn't sure if I was missing someone.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke...

Alan Border, I'm sure it is.
He was asked a question and gave a straight answer? Whats so wrong with that - should he have said no comment?
He only lost them once, Ponting is the first Aussie to lose them twice.
Alan Border, I'm sure it is.
