Up til this series I've always backed Collingwood as someone you could trust to dig in and get you out of a hole but no more. he should go when Pietersen returns (mind you, he can drive you mad when he gets out with his reverse sweeps and such just when he looks set for a big score!).

Yes, Collingwood is rubbish
Obviously, you have to ignore his match saving innings in the first test and the countless key innings he has played during his test career. Yes he has had a mixed series but to call someone who has a test average of 43 shit, is just stupid.
