I think not, this is going to be horrific pitch to bat on 4th. If Australia were to go on and score 400 in the second innings (unlikely I know) I don't fancy us chasing 180 odd in the last innings.

As Pav pointed out this morning, Broad now has as many five-fors in his test career as Freddie has.

Of course we should enforce the follow-on, if the pitch is playing up this much now, Australia will struggle to get beyond 300 in the second innings

If ,and i don't think we will, we get the chance to enforce the follow on then there is no way on earth on this wicket we should do so unless there is a real chance of substantial rain later in the match.

That pitch is going to get a lot, lot worse. Risk is TOO big to take.
