Listening to Phil Kermode who is reviewing the film on Five Live at the moment. His review of the book has taken my breath away. Absolutely spot on and can be downloaded as a pod cast.

Anyway, for what's it's worth I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish.

Saying that, Angels and Demons is EVEN better....

Seconded! Unlike Arctic Monkeys, White Stripes, Franz Ferdinand...most of the hype has actually come from people who have read it, rather than the critics.

Now reading, and have got through over 100 pages of "Read all About It," Max Cliffords' autobiography.

Far more my cup of tea.
