optimistic to think after so many going 20-50x or more in 2021, that theres an alt season to come.
I'll play CheeseRolls (although this might not be the interaction you were after ). Almost nothing above means anything to me, but I am interested in investing a bit with crypto - any useful tips / pointers for a novice!?
Anyone else want to join my Pi network? Looks like it'll be going live soon. It'll be worth... something, who knows what?
I am sending you 1π! Pi is a new digital currency developed by Stanford PhDs, with over 25 million members worldwide. To claim your Pi, follow this link https://minepi.com/Notters1983 and use my username (Notters1983) as your invitation code.
I would suggest start small, with money you can afford to lose and maybe buy bitcoin. Currently bitcoin looks very volatile and it could dip quite sharply in the short term, but I think it will gather momentum in the next few months. I would suggest Coinbase is a good place to start. It isn't the best for value, but the process and presentation is relatively straightforward. What is good is that they have a number of tutorials on different alt coins, where they will give you small quantities if you watch a short video and answer some questions. You can then track the ups and downs of these crypto currencies without playing around with your own money.
Just to suggest an add "move onto Coinbase Pro as soon as you can as you will save a massive amount in fees"
As you say Coinbase on its own is good for free crypto though with its learn and earn its not much but it really helps with the learning curve.
how do you do this? is it a completely differnt platform or can you upgrade you baby acc to pro?
you just install pro and access using the same log in and password as coinbase and its free to transfer crypto between Coinbase and Coinbase pro which is instant. You have to register your bank account on pro to put cash into your account and it costs very little to transfer cash in compared to ordinary coinbase.
You then have both apps and can access either, Coinbase itself is a lot more informative and pro does take a little to get use to. Pro isn't the best description its should be called Coinbase Cheaper as Pro suggests its much more advanced but its not really, just different
this christmas get yourself some JEWEL. a lot of buzz about it and sort of thing bored degens will get involved in while sitting around with family. just to buy and hold for a few weeks, not get involved in the actual game.

Not sure about very little cost to transfer cash in, I've never been charged anything to put cash in, I've only been using it since August 2021.
I tend to use Kucoin and Binance, which have a bigger selection of alt coins, but agree staying on Coinbase rather than pro is not good value.
