Yup, my bet is currently outpacing my ISA’s growth over the same period.
It doesn’t seem to be based on anything more than vibes, and there’s nothing to suggest values won’t tank again in the future, but were I to cash out now, I’d have made about 40% over my initial stake.
I’m leaving where it is just as a way of keeping an eye on what’s happening in the market. From the short time I’ve been in, the market seems to be prone to short-ish bull runs, followed by extended periods in the doldrums. Which makes sense when you consider it’s entirely sentiment driven.
