I'm actually finding it a useful reminder after all the misguided media hype last night about Sussex having one hand on the trophy etc

What's the weather forecast for the rest of the day? Is it due to get brighter?

The BBC forecast promised a sunny day in Nottingham. It was still promising one even as the covers were going on.
