Getting mine at 6:30 later today. At only 29 I wasn't expecting it until at least June. Eastbourne seems to be well on top of this as I don't know anyone in their 30s unvaccinated

Infections - 1,671, rolling 7 day down 10.7%
Deaths - 14, rolling 7 day down 31.2%
Admissions - 160, rolling 7 day down 11.2%
Jabs - 143k/372k, cumulative 34.5m & 15.3m
In hospital - 1,451 (29/4)

number of UK Deaths today ONE

Even though its a bank holiday that is remarkable. Has there been a single day since this all started that there has only been 1 recorded death?

Just looked and there's a 1 in August and also a 0 in July. But yes, remarkably low!

Official page hasn't been updated yet....usually done around 4pm....but they've tweeted 1 death and 1,649 infections

The rolling daily average for deaths is now 0.6 and 92% of communities in Wales have had two or fewer cases in the last week, PHW said.

The rate where I live is 1 per 100,000 over the last seven days. It was over 400 a few weeks ago.

UK numbers............number of deaths seriously dropping to something statistically insignificant now, only 97 in the 7 days and admissions now below 1,000 for the week............

Infections - 1,946, rolling 7 day down 13.2%
Deaths - 4, rolling 7 day down 37%
Admissions - 160, rolling 7 day down 11.2%
Jabs - 79k/129k, cumulative 34.7m/15.6m
In hospital - 1,451 (29/4)
