If Ivermectin does work against Covid 19 then it`s good news ,another weapon against Covid 19. A lot of places like Zimbabwe ,India ,Peru ,Argentina ,Mexico City cannot get enough Vaccines and the drug has been effective .

Ivermectin is very controversial and not an issue for this thread.

More good news from Bolton Hospital. Number of Covid patients has fallen again. Now 34 Covid patients in total, down from 49 last Thursday. Six in ICU/HDU down from 12 on Mon. 3 new admission in past 24 hours but 8 discharges #Covid19UK

Across England as a whole, the internal NHS data says there are now 803 Covid patients in hospital, up from 779 yday. 801 on Wed. So holding steady for now...52 new admissions in past 24 hours but 90 discharges.

Discharges are super important for the NHS capacity now. It appears at least over the past week or so that the rate of Covid admissions is being more than matched by discharges.

Hesitate to post this as children dying isn’t ever good news, but research indicates ALL covid deaths of children were in cases where the child had other profound health issues. Hopefully some reassurance for parents.

They have two sections upstairs now - I think one is AZ and the other must be Pfizer or Moderna I guess. The queue in the non-AZ bit was much shorter but plenty there looked to be 30ish tops. I felt quite old in the AZ queue as well though........

1st dose - Moderna/Pfizer - orange dots - left side
2nd dose - AZ - Green dots - right side

I had my second jab Wednesday and wondered what the orange section was for and yes I too felt old in the green line!

- 464 people went to emergency care
- 126 admitted to hospital
- 83 were unvaccinated
- 28 had one jab
- Just 3 both doses
