Fantastic news and in many areas this is close to 100%, if we can get some of the other communities on board we can really drive down infections through good herd immunity from the vaccination programme, I think early estimates were an expected takeup of around 75%.

Data update - excellent numbers all round, positive trends continue with a new 2nd wave low in infection numbers and the largest 7 day % drop in deaths, plus over 500k jabs administered yesterday
Infections - 8,523, rolling 7 day down 16.8%
Deaths - 345, rolling 7 day down 31.3%
Admissions - 1,117, rolling 7 day down 20.6%
Vaccinations - first jabs 485k, second jabs 35k. Total first jabs now 19.177m
Patients in hospital - 15,485

● Over 500,000 doses have been given in UK in latest 24 hour period.
● The 7 day average of deaths in the UK is down by 31.3%.
