Prices up on Wycombes site:

£18 for adults.

Do the away supporters always pay less than home fans at Withdean?

Yes, I think they have done for a while now.

My Walsall supporting friend paid £20 for his ticket, compared to the £24.50 (not including booking charge).

Fair enough. I doubt any of them are elligible for the travel voucher and they have the worst view in the whole of the land (probably).

Fair play if that is the reasoning. Although they may get given the East Stand as probably only about 50 will come!

Not attending...... 1st home game im gonna miss for a good year id say, Hopefully in future if this turns out to be a half empty stadium they might lower the ticket prices for round 1 cup replays in the future! Maybe if we had Arsenal in the next round then i could understand it but it's Rushden and Diamonds ffs:mad:

I was going to walk from Somerset for this one, and then walk back.

I'd have paid £21.50, but at £22 I'll stay at home and drink cider instead.

That is pretty shit. I can only guess they're trying to cash in on having a new manager in place by then. Not going to be much of a welcome if there is only 2000 people in attendance though.

They've just lost 4 ST holders for this game as things stand.

A new manager may or may not re-kindle our interest

Just tried to log on and foolishly pay too much, but apparently the match is sold out.

Maybe the club have frozen sales and are having a rethink?

Er.... 4,000 at 10 quid equals 40,000 quid revenue

2,500 at 22 quid equals 55,000 quid revenue

Basic economics, innit

Basic bollox more like.
Firstly it would be nearer 6k if it was a tenner and do you know what ?
The fans would feel good about it but the club cannot see that.

I ruddy hope not as I have already purchased mine

If they do lower the price, the very least they can do is give those that paid £22 PRIORITY for the Rushden game :jester:

They would obviously give us the £7 back in store credit, meaning that we would have to spend MORE money as there isnt anything worth having in the club shop for £7!
