Heavens!Popular city Wetherspoon branch closed today after being sold
A popular city pub and part of the Wetherspoon chain has closed today.www.theargus.co.uk
In all my 65 year's, I've never known a pub put their prices down!!Minces in to the Royal George, as it’s now called, this evening. £7.45 for a pint of Neck Oil
Girl behind the bar did say they were putting their prices down soon though.
And really not worth however much it costs! In all my 65 year's, I've never known a pub put their prices down!!
Neck Oil is a pricey pint in most pubs though..
£40…that’s a full week’s worth of out of date ale and microwaved meals. When I was a lad Brighton and Hove had 365 pubs, one for every day in the year. Lucky if that's half that amount now. Sad demise of our national heritage.
Suggest you all join CAMRA. Well worth it, you get £40 worth of Weatherspoons vouchers for £20 joining.
