Whack a brandy in with that Port it livens it up.
IMHO ruins 2 good drinks as both are good on their own but I cant stand them mixed.togetherWhack a brandy in with that Port it livens it up.

It is also a very good cure for a dodgy tummy.
What dosage would that be in? four parts Brandy 1 Part Port.
There's no way I'm opening them all! I wonder if there'd be any appetite for a NSC wine tasting group? Whatcha opening?
I have to do things on a bit of a budget, but tonight:
Van Volxem Schiefer Riesling
Chateau de Rochemorin 2009
Tomorrow:
Taittinger NV
some quite decent Premier Cru Chablis from Aldi
Nuits St Georges 2008 Les Allots Benjamin Leroux
If necessary, Savigny-Les-Beaune Les Hauts Jarrons 2008 Dom De Bellene
Alois Kracauer Eiswein
I live just down the road from Butler's, they do good tastings. Am up for something if we can get another six-plus together.

That's a nice mix. Kracher's stickies are stunning - I was gutted when he died so relatively soon after achieving global fame. Still, his son seems to be continuing his low yield philosophy.
I haven't had the Riesling you're having tonight - do let me know how it goes.
