I tried Sky High the other night. Had never heard of it. Must say, excellent chunky chips if a little on the cool side... just unlucky on that I suppose. And the small cod was superb.. a real whacking chunk of fish in a light, not too greasy batter. Cheers

It was taken over by the same chain which is opening up in place of The Chip Basket.

Chain Modelo Lounge thingy arrived.

Modelo Lounge is part of a very small group that started a mere stone's throw away from where I work in Bristol, and they've been going for less time than I've been in the West Country. As these places go, I think they're pretty decent and never feel like a chain to me, - more like a small independent.
