The Championship Next Season

People say this every year and every year at least a couple of the bookies favourites go into complete meltdown.

I can't see Villa or Norwich becoming good overnight, Huddersfield are going to lose their best players, Leeds are so badly managed they could fall apart at any moment. Of the teams coming down Sunderland have been rubbish for the last couple of years, them and Middlesbrough will have a big rebuilding job.

True. The obvious thing is to choose clubs with big name players and large attendances. That doesn't allow for infighting in the club/fanbase (Sunderland) and/or big time Charlie arrogant players destroying team spirit (Villa).

I route for the low budget clubs working miracles, like Burton. Plus Fulham are a decent club.

Who will keep an eye on the Championship next season?

I will...it's a decent league with good football...but it'll be secondary to PL.

It's hard to see anybody finish above Villa next season once Bruce makes additions in the summer

Villa and Norwich will still be on PP.

As will Fulham, Cardiff and QPR.

We said that about this season and look at Derby, Norwich, Villa etc...

The Norwich and Villa parachute payments reduce next season though so some belt tightening will be required

Derby, a great squad of players and a decent manager they should be winners next season

Love the championship and will continue to watch matches regularly
It's a tough tough league and next season will be similar to this season...Money isn't always the answer as we've seen in recent years.Its just ridiculously competitive with any of 15 clubs capable of pushing for the top two.
