If we can stretch the definition of the championship to the race to be promoted to it I'd like to point out that there's a very good chance that a team will finish the season on 80 or more points and not even make the play offs. That's remarkable.

Low 80 points is often* enough to secure automatic promotion let alone the play offs so to miss out entirely must be galling for those involved. Unless it was portsmouth, in which case it'd be pretty funny.

*It might not be often but it's not as rare as getting low 80's and not making the play offs.

Playful QPR taunting the Rams with 'Oooh Bobby Zamora'.

I recall their displeasure up there when he was warming up for us "Bobby Zamora, he's coming for you'.

It's the small things in life.....

'Muff go 2 up, book your tickets to the seaside.

Barnsley now relegated.

Their owners also own Nancy in France (yesterday relegated to the third division for the first time in their history) and Esbjerg in Denmark (currently on a relegation spot to the third division). It is worth a fiver that Barnsley will get relegated from League One next season.

Meanwhile Huddersfield might end with a positive goal difference for the first time since 99/00.

WTF - even in their promotion season?

Need 'Muff to beat Fulham today, last thing we want is to have to travel to 'Uddersfield again.

Hopefully Fulham turn up in flip flops like we did once we had been promoted and were nailed on for the title.

Play-off winner I'd prefer Luton or Notts Forrest.

Yes, had a goal difference of -2 when they went up.

Although I did read it wrong... apparently its their first time since 99/00 in the top two divisions only.. they had a positive goal difference in League One.
