Jesus, what an awful game. If an English club went out and played like Real did tonight, the world would be giving them pelters for being 'boring' and whatever. All credit to Ancelotti for somehow making that team European Champions; a minor miracle.

Not sure what more Liverpool could do really when you look at the stats. Courtois has made a huge contribution to the game...Real poached a goal and did little else.

Completely unfair. Real had about three really big chances on the break, and could very easily have ended up winning 2 or 3 nil.

Don't like Real Madrid but this is the 5th CL trophy for 9 (I think) of their players... nothing you can sweep under the rug, it is pretty ****ing impressive.

Liverpool didn’t score in the Champions League final, the FA Cup final and the League Cup final.

Liverpool have scored just 1 goal in over 6hrs of cup final football.

.. Divock Origi got it.

As you say, Real had maybe three big chances " on the break " but Allison barely got his gloves dirty .. if Real had won 3-0 playing like that it would have been a travesty given that most of the time they were throwing themselves in the way of attempts on their goal.

The last time Liverpool lost in the final to Real Madrid they came back the next year and won it. Just saying.
