Wow, is this the worst day ever for celebrity deaths?

Edit just seen on the Argus site that he was a part time Albion coach, I never knew that

Sad day. Strangely. I walked past his parents grave earlier today at Durrington Cemetery while out exercising without knowing he had passed and thought about him

Oh my goodness, what a shat day.... RIP Peter, a brilliant goalkeeper, he would have played more times for England but at that time there were so many brilliant 'keepers..

Out of respect, can we NOT have an explanation of why he was known as " The Cat " ?

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Shit.

Childhood hero before I saw the light.

I did the same the other day. Worthing family and his brother was a decent player as well. He was one of the first goalkeepers to wear specialist gloves and my first pair of keepers gloves were a pair of his branded gloves.
