I guess from a Marseille Police perspective it was a hugely successful operation. For sure a lot of people got inconvenienced, but no real reports of anybody getting hurt. They'll be treating it as a trial run for their next two Europa League home matches where the visiting supporters may not be quite so docile and compliant

Probably deserves its own thread

I've asked in another thread but does anyone know of it was possible to get in the ground without going on one of those bloody buses. Lot of people missed the beginning of the game. Absolutely disgraceful.

And what was the story with Tony bloom redirecting some of these buses for his party ? Is that true ?
The Tony Bloom story - was mentioned somewhere that it wasn't for his party or buses due to be elsewhere. Something about him "comandeering" some spare buses for himself and a number of Albion fans on delayed flights to get to the ground on time.

Think mainly those that had problems were folks with transport issues so they were late arriving at Joliette or those that stayed to get pissed and thought it was going to be like Mill Road P&R so got on a coach at 4:30.
