I noticed they have turned it around so all on private property now.

I assume that is OK also if they club are trying to get rid of it why is the drinks van outside Falmer OK to stay there ?

The one parked in front of three houses - the burger van owner owns two of the houses but woman in third home is causing most of the objection - Love thy Neighbour !!!

AFAIK the club don't have any formal objections to the van - it's the locals. Maybe the ducks, bats and newts don't like burgers.

The club aren't trying to get rid of it. Absolutely nothing to do with them. The objections came from local residents.

I think the Argus were implying it was - but the objections to the council were from the local residents (presumably those who live in the houses by the station), who complained about the smell, noise, litter etc. I don't think the club has any jurisdiction over what happens there at all.

Beach Hut, I am a bit worried about this statement as I take your posts as gospel and now you have introduced an element of doubt. Could you please indicate your percentage of certainty on future posts to help me through this difficult time?

Thank you.

I think there are plenty of others who really do consider themselves the mouthpiece of the club.

Let's get real

A month or so ago the owner of the van posted on here how bad the food was at the Amex, and Bozza found him out for who he was.

As it happens, I've had a burger from there, and it was totally cack.

The only decent thing was the girl's arse.

To be fair, I've had a proper cack piece of shit burger from the Amex. Although the last 2 cheeseburgers I've had have been fairly good actually. Never used the burger van though. Rather my money went to the club.

Two people, in ONE house? Probably fornicating. Burn them!

But does your money go to the club or does it go to the catering company - do they pay a fixed licence fee to the club or a percent on takings? i.e. does you buying your burger / pie etc in the ground benefit the club in any way?

Fancied a sausage roll from one of the vans on Saturday, then changed my mind thinking I wouldn't be allowed to take it into the ground to eat it. Would that be right? Hubby had an Albion burger once. Said it was like cardboard and would never have another one. We have pies, but they do vary in quality. Pastry is often too hard round the edges and my beef was a bit dry on Saturday. This was before the match.

My burger in the Amex this week was MEDIUM-RARE.

I assume this was accidental under-cooking.....but it was LOVELY. Just enough blood to keep it MOIST.
