The Burger Stands At Withdean Do There Best To Rip You Off!

It is a point to make that you do not have to buy any food from the the burger stands, however, i never understand the policy of pricing(charging HUGE prices), surely if it was only just above high street prices alot more people would buy food from there. Very often i have been to big sporting events and seen burgers at £5 and thought on principle i am not buying one, i can afford it, just not paying rip off prices for what is below average(at best) food

All burger vans or rather most burger vans area rip off. One of my sons delivers for a wholesale food company and their best burgers, which he got us for a family bbq, work out at 37p each with a bap for 90% beef burger. Most burger vans wont deal with them because they say that that companys products are too dear so what do burger vans pay for theirs.

In the 80s i use to do the odd weekend working in my mates burger van.
His supplier was a firm in Newhaven and he could get a box of 50 burgers for a few quid and charge a quid a go.
They were nasty. Since then i have never eaten eaten from one of those vans and i never wil again.

I must remember a part of that line for when Falmer ticket prices soar in yrs to come. some fair point made though, people should indeed not pay for that crap excuse for food then moan because there are lots of others choices inc. have a bag of crisps. etc.. for half time instead if you feel the need to eat something half time.

Must admit I never eat at football grounds. What pisses me off is how few grounds can offer a cup of black coffee.

That aside two pages and no mention of the OP's truly awful grammar and spelling is pretty impressive for NSC

Can't really complain about it, it's what's expected IMO. I usually just gets chips as their not half bad but the burgers are just shite with a slice of packaged 1mm width sized cheese inside.

I only eat at football matches to soak up all the beer consumed beforehand otherwise I'd be having a piss every twenty minutes.

Chesterfield's boiled 'burger' was so bad I threw it on the pitch.:lolol:

I always take something to eat when I go to a home game, even if that is just a piece of fruit and choccy bar for half time...the only time I will happily eat food inside the ground is when it is at Kidderminster, where what is on offer is excellent value...Aggborough soup, a meal in a very large polystyrene cup, for £1.50...that is what I call a bargain.

Tsk. You were doing SO well up to that point

Well what ELSE is there to listen to whilst performing a menial but productive task.
I'd still rather that than Allan bloody Green or TalkShite.

I had a portion of chips today at Kick-off and a bacon bap at half time. They even threw in a free burger with the bacon.
