Stoke-on-Trent now has 9 Bnp members on the council,up from 6. Just looking at the Bnp site, the party has now 100 councillors. Yes small beer,however they seem to making inroads in many area,s. So much so when you check election results in a number of places they are in second place. They have the 'foot-solders' to make that a First place ! Working with people from the S-o-T area who have either voted or spoken to Bnp councillors, TRAGICALLY FOR THE OTHER PATRIES they all say the same, The Bnp listern and act on what i say. For me the Bnp is NOT the way forward.

That is so true, when the Lib Dems won in Eastbourne last year, we went from having a big Conservative majority to a big Lib Dem majority. A lot of the councillors that got elected did not expect to get elected and are now finding it hard to give the commitment that is required.

I work for Eastbourne Council and meet with some of the councillors on a regular basis, one of them admitted to me recently that they did not even know which of the services that we provided were statutory and which were optional. This was after they had made budget cuts in some areas.
