By the time we play City they will have won the league(on the beach).
When we play Spurs they will have one eye on the Cup Semi.
When we play Man Utd there's every chance they will have confirmed 2nd spot and may have one eye on a Cup Final.
When we play Liverpool last game then their season may be all over (on the beach).
Plus if we do really badly in our remaining games then a host of other teams will have to do very well at the same time.

I can easily imagine Saints just getting 4 points from that lot and Stoke even less. I know we have a tough run-in, but those are not easy at all.

My only fear is Southampton are playing Chelsea and Bournemouth at home, both who's season is over and Arsenal, Leicester and Everton away again whos seasons are over. That five games against teams that won't be too bothered. However their fixture pile up will help.

Saints and Stoke are really going to struggle to average more ppg from those games than they've managed all season so far. Could actually see Saints in particular not getting any more points at all - all the punditry I heard yesterday was absolutely slating their performance against West Ham.
Indeed - in order to provide more context its important to note that Stains have only won 5 games all season and Stoke have won 6. Both have changed their managers in recent weeks and the fabled "bounce" seems to have been exhausted in both cases.
I read somewhere that WBA should poach Hughes now - he could then be the first manager to have managed all 3 relegated teams in the same season

It can always go either way but I think Brighton will benefit from an "overload" of games against the Big Six in the final few weeks of the season. You have points in the bag against the likes of Swansea & West Ham and might pick up more against Liverpool, Spurs, Man United and Man City if those teams have achieved their targets already before the final couple of weeks of the season.
Contrast this to Everton who had to play Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea in the first 6/7 weeks of the season. They only picked up 4 points from the first 6 games and this set the tone for an under-achieving season. But had Everton won a couple of those early games, they might have now been challenging for a top four place.
The Seagulls efficiently dealt with rivals West Ham (6), Swansea (6), Newcastle (4) and Watford (4) and these points have taken the pressure off the "difficult-looking" run-in.
Contrast this to Everton who had to play Man City, Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea in the first 6/7 weeks of the season. ManU, Liverpool and Spurs will beat the Albion with ease. All three are winning machines at the moment, miles better than Arsenal and us. ManU are ugly on the eye, Maurinho's very negative, but they invariably do enough to get past the relatively low budget Albion's of this world, simply by having far better players 1 to 11.
But we should stay up with just one more win or a couple of draws.
There's a lot of dross below us.

Was speaking to a member of my extended family who is from down that way and a fan. He said the atmosphere around the club is very negative.
You can’t expect to sell your best players season after season, and it not come back to bite you on the arse eventually.
