The stats prove a couple of things a). Where there is hope and b). Fans only turn up to watch winning sides. We are fickle.

I almost remember the Donny away day and the pitch invasion. Didn't the Chairman try to burn down the Main Satnd or something, off the top of my head was he called Shepherd (I might have made that up).

Of course Fans United was also against Donny, what a great day that was.

Fascinating - I do remember us at that first season in Gillingham and we were bloody awful and even worse than the previous year. We've come a very long way since those dark days

Blue n White you are so right. Those dark days all merged into one in my ageing mind.

When you look at those teams it should give hope to all clubs. That said they are all big cities or big towns with potential for big support. When you look at some of the rubbish with small grounds and support coming from the Conference (What ever it's called) I think that there is a lot to be said for re-election and not automatic relegation.

Fans United 2 was against Donny at the Priestfield.

On Valentines Day, if I remember rightly. A goalless draw, between the two worst teams in the league.

We wore plastic firemen's hats in solidarity.
