Not sure I'd want to watch the back of his head for a couple of hours.

I think my seat for Chicago on Tuesday may well be a watch the back of his head seat - tickets were not easy to come by!

They certainly were not - the internet went into meltdown. Well done for getting a ticket. Every time I tried for tickets I got a message saying that they were experiencing high volumes of traffic and that basically I stood no chance

I got that too and just went around every venue and ended up here in Chicago where it is a nippy -10C before windchill falling to -17!

From one proper musician to another, as opposed to the untalented sadsacks who've come fourth on a manufactured, manipulated lack of talent show and will no doubt be on a reality show or flipping burgers in twelve months alongside others who are FFFA.

Thanks for that! I wonder who could adequately pay tribute to Springsteen? Only god himself, as far as I'm concerned.

Depends how it was done.

I would not be on favour of the Queen approach where the rest of the band had a string of singers to come on to sing one song.

The one person who could undertake this would in my view be Neil Young.

However believe the following could have a good shout

Southside Johnny with 10th Avenue Freeze Out

Patti Smith given the gifting of Because the Night

Others?

Class, but then I'd expect nothing less from The Boss.

I dread the day when it is necessary for similar tributes to be paid to him...I think that's when I'll really appreciate the depth of feeling some people have for David Bowie.

Jackson Browne wouldn't be out of his depth. Have you seen them on youtube, doing "Running on empty"?

So maybe I get to see the Boss do an Eagles cover tomorrow with the loss of Glen Frey

Nice one, hope you enjoyed the show.
I hear rumours he is bringing the show to Europe this year
