You must be one of those young pups, who think soccerball was only invented at the start of the Premiership .

I'm youngish, but I've watched a fair bit of old football and there's no question that it is of a much higher quality technically and physically than the good ol' days.

Explain? How can it be better?

In the simplest terms, people are better at kicking footballs now than they were then. Plus everyone talks about the old game being an absolute HACKfest like it's a good thing.
